Ways to Make Money Online

When you are thinking about ways to make money online, using business ideas from the internet is not all plain sailing. Marketing at home can be hard, and you have to be prepared to work, but it can be done if you know how. Take note of these words: ‘Know How’

If you intend to get rich quick good luck! You would be the first to do so without gambling or winning a lottery. There are lots of people online that want to make money from you, and don’t care whether you make a penny or not. Generally, you won’t.

I spent over $160,000 on eBooks, videos, MLM schemes and PPC advertising and just about everything else trying to find ways to make money online. I nearly lost my home, and found out just in time where I was going wrong, and how turn my luck around.

It wasn't luck, however. Neither bad nor good, but deplorable judgment. I can prove what I am saying if needed, but found the right ways to make money online, and have now managed to make enough to finish clearing my debts two months ago.

I found my son doing the same thing, so I took him over and taught him what to avoid – it wasn’t long before he could see the trees in the wood, and he was on the right track to finding his own ways to make money online without spending more than he could afford.

I decided then to help others do the same – some for free, but mostly not, because I, too, have to make money to take my wife all these places I couldn’t because I had blown the savings and my salary, and taken a $60,000 loan out on the house to pay some of my debts. That also has been paid back now. Don’t do what I did: it will hurt your family more than it will hurt you. I know!

I though hard about all the ways to make money online that I had learned about, and came up with a massive list that I could never include in one eBook. By now I had published several well selling eBooks on GoogleAdsense, search engine optimization and article marketing, so knew what would be acceptable and what would not.

I decided to put it all onto a membership site and charge a monthly fee for members to have access to it all. However, members would copy it all in the first month and get thousands of dollars worth of material for one monthly payment of $27 ($21 for a while).

So I decided then to open the membership site for members that had stayed with it for 3 months, and send them monthly packages in the meantime. OK, I am trying not to cheat you, but also I have to live, and $21 is not a lot to charge for $64,000 of experience!

You will likely read claims by many of the internet gurus that they also maxed their credit cards and saw the light at the last minute and discovered ways to make money online that will make us all millionaires. They don't provide proof. They will show you Clickbank reports indicating their high earnings, but I too can produce these with whatever figures on the report that you want. It's amazing what a good graphics program can do for you (I will give you one on my membership site).

It's accumulating the income from all these small earning activities that makes people rich, not coming across one that makes thousands. It doesn't happen to any but the luckiest, and that is not usually you or I!

What we have to do is use a number of different ways to make money online - even if just a few dollars - and put them on autopilot so they are generating money while we sleep.

I have learned the hard way, and I am one of the very few people that genuinely feel for others because I know what I put my family through and would hate even for strangers to go through that. It was only my prayers that got me through this and I would hate to think other children could suffer because their parents were badly informed by internet scammers and cheats.

So learn from me, and I can show you the way to go! I can't make you money, but I can sure as hell make sure that you won't lose any - assuming you follow my advice. I can show you many ways to make money online and teach you how to use the internet to help you achieve that.

I will eventually help you to make money, but first I will help you to learn ways to make money online before you start trying to compete with people who have been making money online marketing from home for zillions of years (slight exaggeration!).

There is a lot to avoid, and here are some tips to help you.

SCAMS

Some internet businesses and programs are scams. You can often check up on them by visiting a scam site online such as MLM Watch

That is one of the better ones, and if you intend joining a specific program simply carry out a Google search using ‘program scam’ using the program name in place of ‘program’. This will bring up results where the program and the word ‘scam’ appear together. You should get useful information here, but be careful.

Many people that run scams will do the same thing, and then make a comment providing the program with a glowing tribute and how it saved their life –blah!blah!blah!

Have an open mind, but don’t be fooled, and if a few genuine people have a genuine complaint, believe that before the glowing tributes about how much money people made. This is particularly true of MLM programs, one of the ways to make money online that you will be hearing a lot about.

Using MLM programs, people earn money on the basis of how many others they can persuade to join. Persuade none and you basically earn nothing, because most MLM programs don’t have a product worth the price charged, and people won’t buy it.

I have many tips like that above which I will put on the member's site - like how to make sure you make the last bid on an item on eBay before it is sold. Ebay is one of the great classical ways to make money online if you understand how to use it properly: you can also use it to promote your blogs and your websites even though eBay does not officially allow you to do so.

CLAIMS

Most people selling something online will make a claim about it. This is particularly true of products claiming to make you money. If they made so much money, whey is somebody selling it and not making money that way?

Many go to great lengths to explain why they are selling it: they have made enough money, and now want to help you to avoid their mistakes (just as I am doing here!). They have made so much money using this eBook that they want to sell it to you so you can do the same.

The difference between them and me is that I don’t have an ebook to sell that made me a lot of money: it was an accumulation of things as it is with the vast majority that makes more than a nickel online. I will eventually try to sell you things that will help you, and I am giving away nothing by helping you. It’s how I make my money. I have no single ‘big thing’ that I can sell you and it will make you’re a fortune.

Stay clear of these things unless you know what you are doing. My membership site will help you to know what you are doing, and I will give my members personal advice if they are considering spending money on any eBook, video, software or tool top use online. So claims are fine, but not if you don’t know how to use their product to make money, and not if you are relying on it to help you make your fortune. No single product will do that.

COMPETITION

Make sure you know your competition in whatever you are doing, because you will have a lot and if can’t identify them and their weaknesses; you won’t be able to compete. If you can’t compete, you will lose. There are ways to do this, but I have made a commitment to my members that certain aspects of what I have to say are for them only. They are paying the $21 to get it after all.

Once you can see the weaknesses in your competition, you can exploit these and get their customers. There are also ways of doing that, and very successful ways that helped me a great deal in the early days after I accepted I was getting nowhere and decided to write of all the money I had spent and start again- this time from a strong foundation.

I then tried out some ways to make money online that I got ideas about by looking at what my competitors were doing to make money. The adverts and affiliate products they were selling. Suddenly, making money on the internet seemed a lot easier

THIS IS A BUSINESS NOT A HOBBY

My life changed the day I believed that for the first time. The moment I started working from a plan and then a strategy, my life changed. Now I had targets to meet each month, week and day, and I didn’t stop working until I met my daily targets.

Meet your targets and you are bound to succeed, as long as they are realistic, and based on a sound plan that can work. My first plan was to repay my credit card debt in 2 years and I set my targets round that. I achieved that plan, and have now set others.

GET HELP

You can’t do it by yourself. If you try, you will likely be one of the 99% that fail to make any money online. Get help: get trained in how to use the internet properly, and get trained in how to carry out the basic internet marketing tasks such as set up a website, use an autoresponder, join PayPal and 2Checkout, add graphics to your website, use HTML and CSS and so on and so on.

If you have too much work to do then outsource: get others to write your promotional articles and web page content and use others to set up functional scripts for you, and so on. I am an article ghostwriter, and offer 5 articles each month to my members to do with as they want.

However, outsourcing can be a very important factor in your online success, and just because you are carrying out internet marketing at home, or even using my business ideas at home to make money, there is no reason why you can't use others to do work that you can't do yourself. The genuinely great Russell Brunson stated his multi-million dollar business that way while he was at college, and you can too.

SO that's enough for now, but keep in mind that there are many ways to make money online, and each one will work for you if you know how to use it correctly.

The secret is duplication and repetition: if it works, make it work as many times as possible. If a blog makes money, start up another 10 the same on different niches. If a website makes money do the same again, and again, and again.

There are many ways to make money online, but the way to make real money is to use them many times and if you duplicate what you do, you will duplicate your income.

Don't believe all they tell you, but keep in mind that marketing at home can work - if you make it work for you, and do it the right way, and do it again!
